BRIEF ENCOUNTER: Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden

January 3, 1985

I saw Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson emerge from a taxi behind the Cincinnati Gardens dressed uncannily like Sherlock Holmes, storm past a crowd of autograph seekers and, finding this metal door locked, he simply took a step back and kicked it in. It all happened in about 5 seconds. It would have been nice to meet the man, but in retrospect it's much cooler to have seen him kick a metal door in.
