Same month: March 31, 1986 – Van Halen & Bachman Turner Overdrive at Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center, Birmingham, AL (Sammy Hagar’s 4th show with Van Halen, I went to this concert with Chris Wanstrath. He and I were on our way home from spending a week in Florida.)

May 6, 1986 – Bachman Turner Overdrive & Van Halen at the Gardens

June 23, 1986 – Stevie Ray Vaughan & Fabulous Thunderbirds at Riverbend

July 11, 1986 – Gang Green at the Jockey Club, Newport, KY

July 23, 1986 – The Ramones at the Jockey Club, Newport, KY (I saw Lars & Cliff from Metallica drinking at the bar.)
