Pissed And Pious

Pissed and Pious sitting on a fence, Pious fell off and they became friends. Pissed was he who helped up Pious. Friends like these money does not buy us. On which side of the fence Pious fell, Pissed neither cared nor could tell. So that side by side the two could stand, Pissed lent Pious a helping hand. Finding themselves both on the same side, No longer upon the fence astride. Pious threw no shade on Pissed, Lest an honest chance to connect be missed. Climbing back atop their previous perch, They both agreed to a thoroughgoing search. Of their hearts and minds and attitudes, When they were right and when they were rude. Their blood was the same, their pain was the same. In fact they were different only in name. And so no longer would the false truth persist. For Pissed was Pious, and Pious was Pissed. Finding themselves the same they found The grass was not greener, it was good all around. So Pissed and Pious then decided hence There would no longer be a need for a fence. For only before their very first breath Were they ever truly unbiased. And thus til death Pious was Pissed, And Pissed at peace with Pious.
