ROLLING STONES IN LEXINGTON 1981

December 11, 1981 – The Rolling Stones at Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY My next door neighbor Tom & his girlfriend Donna took me to this show. We had seats in the second to last row in the very back of the upper deck at Rupp Arena. My first Stones’ concert, I knew a lot of their hits from the radio but I had no idea how truly great they were until this night. One song after another was a revelation. I remember repeatedly thinking, “Wait… They did this song too???” Some years later a soundboard recording of the show leaked out. Here it is on YouTube:
